Privacy policy
LAST UPDATED · JULY 2026
This policy explains what Valtr collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written to match how the product actually works: your decisions are confidential to you by default, and the cohort layer Valtr learns from is anonymized, aggregated, and lagged.
What we collect
- Account data. Your name, email, and workspace settings.
- Decision inputs. The ideas, constraints, and questions you submit to get a verdict.
- Outcome data. Only when you explicitly opt in, and lagged 90 days before it informs any cohort.
- Usage data. Standard product analytics to keep Valtr fast and reliable.
How we use it
We use your data to compute your verdicts, generate your reports, run the engines you ask us to, and support your account. We use it to improve Valtr in aggregate. We do not sell it.
The cohort layer
Valtr learns across customers only in aggregate, lagged, and deidentified. Your individual decisions, inputs, and results are never shown to another customer, and never attributed to you in any shared reference set.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Access is scoped and logged. Enterprise workspaces are covered by SOC 2 controls and a dedicated support path.
Your choices
- Export or delete your data at any time from settings.
- Opt out of outcome data contribution without losing product access.
- Request a full account deletion by writing to privacy@valtr.xyz.
